Home of the Ageas Bowl cricket ground — a village with international cricket and concerts on its doorstep.
West End is a village adjacent to Hedge End on the western edge of the south of Eastleigh Borough. It is best known to most people as the home of the Ageas Bowl — Hampshire's international cricket ground and an outdoor concert venue that attracts tens of thousands of visitors a year.
Aside from the Ageas Bowl, West End is a residential village with a local church and a handful of services. It has an agricultural history and retains some village character despite being absorbed into the wider Southampton urban fringe.
The village has easy access to the M27 and a short drive to Hedge End and Eastleigh town. Poseidon Boxing Academy is one of the notable local sports facilities in the area.
The Itchen Valley Country Park is accessible from the north of the village, giving residents good access to woodland and river walks.
