Eastleigh FC — known as The Spitfires — completed their 2025/26 National League season in mid-table, finishing 14th in the fifth tier of English football. It was a season of consolidation under manager Matt Gray, who took the reins at Silverlake Stadium during the campaign.

How the season unfolded

The season opened on 9 August 2025 with a trip to newly promoted Brackley Town. The Spitfires played home matches at Silverlake Stadium in Ten Acres throughout the year.

The campaign had its highs and lows, as National League campaigns typically do. A 1–0 away win at Scunthorpe United in the closing stages of the season set the tone for the summer, as the club published its 2025/26 retained list in the wake of the result.

The final table position

A 14th-place finish in the National League represents a solid mid-table result — clear of the relegation zone and without the pressure of a play-off push. The National League has 24 clubs: top two are promoted to the EFL; bottom four are relegated to the National League North/South.

Season finale

The final home game of the season was played against Tamworth on 25 April 2026, allowing supporters at Silverlake Stadium to say goodbye to the season in front of their home crowd.

Getting to Silverlake Stadium

Silverlake Stadium is located at Ten Acres, off Stoneham Lane, approximately 2 miles north of Eastleigh town centre. Match-day parking is available on site. The nearest train station is Eastleigh (approximately 10-minute drive) or Southampton Airport Parkway.
