Bluestar Routes
Bluestar is the main operator serving Eastleigh town. Confirmed routes include:
Route 1: Southampton–Winchester, via Bassett, Chandler's Ford, Otterbourne, Compton, St Cross
Route 2: Southampton–Fair Oak, via Portswood, Swaythling, North Stoneham, Eastleigh, Bishopstoke

Fares and Tickets (at time of writing, effective 30 August 2026)
Bluestar single fare within the Southampton fare zone: £2.70 flat single
Dayrider (unlimited travel within the zone for the day): £4.40, buyable via the Bluestar app or by tapping a contactless card
Children: Ages 5–15 pay a discounted child fare; under-5s travel free (maximum 2 per fare-paying adult)
Ages 16–19: Discounted college travel via Bluestar's dedicated college services

Concessionary Bus Passes
Administered by: Hampshire County Council (not the bus companies)
Older Person's Pass: From State Pension age, free travel on local buses across England. Usable 9:30am–11pm Monday–Friday and all day on weekends and bank holidays.
Disabled Person's Pass: Similar eligibility and terms as above.
Young Person's Pass: There is no county-wide young person's bus pass. Younger riders get operator-run discounts instead (like Bluestar's under-19 fares and college services).
